These terms are an agreement between you and Pixzle Apps LLC, a limited liability company organized in Illinois ("Pixzle," "we," "us"). They apply to the Pixzle iOS app, the web player at play.pixzle.net, and anything else we publish under the Pixzle name.

By using Pixzle you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What Pixzle is

Pixzle is a photo puzzle game. You solve puzzles made from a daily image, from our curated library, or from a photo of your own. You can turn your own photo into a puzzle and send it to someone as a link.

Pixzle is free. Some features are supported by advertising, which you can remove with a one-time purchase.

2. No account

Pixzle does not require an account. You are responsible for how the app is used on your device.

3. Age

The Pixzle game is suitable for all ages.

Uploading and sharing your own photos requires you to be at least 13 years old. If you are under 13, do not use the photo upload feature. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you may only use Pixzle with the permission of a parent or guardian.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of every photo you upload. We do not claim it.

By uploading a photo you grant us a limited license to store it, process it into puzzle tiles, generate a blurred preview, and deliver it to anyone holding the share link — for the sole purpose of operating the feature you asked for. This license ends when the content is deleted.

You confirm that you have the right to upload the photo, and that doing so does not violate anyone else's rights or the law.

Photos expire after 24 hours and are deleted shortly thereafter. That applies to both kinds of share — a puzzle made from your photo, and a picture of a puzzle you solved. The share link page for a puzzle you made outlives the photo by up to 10 days, so that someone opening an old link sees a clear "expired" message rather than a broken page; our Privacy Policy sets out the full schedule. Do not rely on Pixzle to store anything. It is not a backup service.

5. Acceptable use

Your use of Pixzle is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms. It describes what may not be uploaded or shared.

We may remove content that violates it, and we may do so without notice where the content is illegal or presents a risk of harm. Because Pixzle has no accounts, we have no way to identify or block a particular person or device — removing the content is the enforcement action available to us.

6. Reporting

If you receive a shared puzzle containing content that violates our Acceptable Use Policy, report it using the report control on the shared puzzle, or email support@pixzleapps.com with the full puzzle link. Our handling process is described in our Content & Safety Policy.

7. Our content

The Pixzle name, logo, design, code, and curated image library belong to us or our licensors. The curated library is licensed from Adobe Stock. The daily puzzle and the images returned by in-app search come from Unsplash and their photographers, under the Unsplash License. You may play with all of it inside Pixzle. You may not extract, redistribute, or build a competing product from it.

8. Purchases

"Remove Ads" is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. Apple's terms govern the transaction, and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.

9. Availability

Pixzle is provided as-is. We do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or that any particular feature will continue to exist. We may change or discontinue features, including photo sharing, at any time.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pixzle is provided without warranties of any kind.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to Pixzle is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty-five US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to you only to the extent permitted.

11. Termination

You may stop using Pixzle at any time by deleting it. We may remove any content that violates these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, and we may stop offering the sharing feature entirely.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, without regard to conflict of laws rules.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always at this address, with the date at the top, and every change is recorded on our Policy Changelog. Continuing to use Pixzle after a change means you accept the updated terms.
