Pixzle is a puzzle game, not a social network. Most of what you see is content we chose ourselves. This page covers the rest: what people are allowed to share, how to report something, and what happens when you do.
What content exists on Pixzle
Most content on Pixzle is ours: a daily puzzle we select from Unsplash, and a curated library of images licensed from Adobe Stock. Every one of those has been reviewed by hand.
The exception is an image you supply yourself to create a shared puzzle — a photo from your library, or one you generate with Apple's Image Playground. That is the only content in Pixzle that does not come from us, and it is the subject of this page.
Sharing is private, not public
There is no feed, no gallery, no discovery, no search, and no way to browse other people's puzzles. A shared puzzle is visible only to someone holding the link you sent them, and only until it expires — about 24 hours after you create it, and deleted shortly thereafter.
Screening
We do not currently screen uploads automatically. An image you share is not inspected before the link is created.
That makes reporting the primary safeguard rather than a backstop. Every shared puzzle carries a report control when you open it, and any puzzle can be reported by email.
Reporting
Every shared puzzle can be reported — from the report control on a shared puzzle you have opened, or by emailing support@pixzleapps.com with the puzzle link.
A report tells us the puzzle identifier, the link, the time you reported it, and whatever you choose to tell us. Reports reach us by email, so it will also carry the address you send it from — we use that only to reply to you, and we do not add it to any list. We never ask for your name, and you do not need to give one.
What happens after a report

Because shared images expire after 24 hours on their own, most reported content is already gone by the time we act. We act anyway — deleting the content and, where required, preserving and reporting the material.
Enforcement limits
Every report gets the content removed, and illegal material reported to the appropriate authorities. Because Pixzle has no accounts, removal is the enforcement available to us — there is no uploader account to suspend. Where a pattern of abuse appeared, we would withdraw the sharing feature rather than let it continue.
